Wk 1
Hair theory, covering all hair textures and hair types. Covering basic tools and what effects they create, ( brushes, hot irons and hair straighteners.)

Hair styling and product knowledge How to choose the right product for the desired effect.

Wk 2
Blow-drying (practical and demo) how to section the hair how to choose the correct brush choice of product to choose

Wk 3
Creating waves and curls on medium and long hair styles. Manipulating curly to give a straight look and creating a curly look on straight hair. Mens grooming

Wk 4
Advanced hair styling (demo and practical) Putting hair up using back combing effects. how to create a sleek chignon

Improve your creativity

This 4 week hair styling course will cover the essential hair styling skills and tips.

Working with different hair textures and hair types to build your confidence when handling long, medium and short hair.

Covering hair curling, straightening and setting to achieve contemporary and current fashion looks, such as how to create beautiful waves as seen on magazine covers, or how to control flyaway hair and create a sleek polished look.



Product knowledge will be covered demonstrating how different products create different effects.




You will also learn how essential the right choice of product is and how to determine hair texture and hair type.

Teaching simple tips and techniques to give you the confidence and competence for the market place.

The tutor: Rachel Dinicis a Celebrity Hair and Make-up artist. She started her career 15 years ago in Theatre, for the Welsh National Opera, and moved to London, to work for The National Theatre, and numerous shows, including, Sunset Boulevard, Cats, Les Miserable, Mary Poppins, Spamalot, The Sound of Music, Wicked, and was Patrick Swayze, and Don Johnson’s personal Hair and Make-up Artist on Guys and Dolls.
